1- You were born in Las Vegas, a city renowned for its entertainment industry. How has this unique environment influenced your career choices and aspirations from a young age?

My mother was a very famous lead showgirl at the Folies Bergère here in Las Vegas, and my father was the president of a major TV station, so I feel that show business is in my blood. From the time I could walk, I wanted to be on stage!

2- Your mother was a showgirl and your father a police officer. How did these contrasting influences shape your personality and interests in the world of entertainment?

My mother passed away when I was very young, so she was always someone I looked up to and wanted to emulate. My father raised me, cherished me, and protected me with all he had. He was very loving but also strict, so in a way, I rebelled, both with my personality and career choices.

3- You participated in beauty pageants and received professional ballet training. How did these early experiences help develop your skills and prepare you for your future career?

Ballet was the cornerstone for me. It made me strong and also helped keep me focused on routine. Pageants really forced me out of my intense shyness... when I would go on stage, it felt like a baptism of fire. Both were really good for me.

4- Your autobiography, How to Make Love Like a Pornstar, became a bestseller. What aspects of your life did you find most important to share with your readers, and how did you approach writing this book?

The story of how I overcame abuse was incredibly important to me because so many women deal with it in one shape or another... it was scary but incredibly cathartic for me to detail in my book. When I sat down with my co-author Neil Strauss, he was able to make my memories come alive, and we came up with the idea of putting my book into verses like the Bible... and I loved the juxtaposition.

5- You sold ClubJenna to Playboy for a significant sum, rumored to be more than $50 million. Can you discuss the challenges you faced in running this business and the lessons you learned from it?

ClubJenna was such a pivotal time for me. I went through many pitfalls while navigating the 18+ industry on my own, and I went on to lead a company that was beneficial to the contract stars and other women who were in the same industry as me. ClubJenna used to turnover millions each year because I was bold and brave enough to take business risks, try new things, and I was always one step ahead of everyone else.

6- You have graced the covers of over 200 magazines worldwide. How has this media visibility impacted your career, and how did you manage this international attention?

Despite being known as a sex symbol in the height of my career, I always thought of myself as the “girl next door.” I think society saw that as well, so it translated into mainstream media, and I landed many front magazine covers. People may not know this, but I’m an introvert and a homebody—so the attention was secondary to me and always made me a bit uncomfortable. I’m still that shy teenager inside, so I always have to force myself out of my comfort zone to make appearances or do photoshoots.

7- As a media personality, you have appeared in films, television shows, and even had your own reality TV series. How did you navigate between these different media formats, and what challenges did you encounter?

I fancy myself a jack of all trades. Despite being shy, acting and performing always came so naturally to me, so I always allowed myself to be on autopilot in those jobs... but my true passion has always been hosting. If I hadn’t gone into the glamour and sexy side of showbiz, I would have loved to become a news anchor!

8- You have been interviewed by prominent media figures such as Oprah Winfrey and Howard Stern. What are some notable differences between these interviews, and how have these experiences influenced your public image?

Howard always felt like speaking to a friend; he made me so comfortable and always made me laugh... so appearances on his show were fun and easy. Whereas I was incredibly nervous when I was on Oprah; I had no idea how I would be received. I was pleasantly surprised when she turned out to be so fantastic and understanding. On the other hand, TV host and journalist Bill O’Reilly was very challenging. He was combative, so I handled him in a totally different way.

9- You are currently an ambassador for Unnecessary Media, a company specializing in AI video content. What attracted you to this innovative technology, and how do you see the future of AI in the media world?

I have always prided myself on being at the forefront of what is hot and important in society, so it was a natural fit for me. I am extremely excited about all of the discoveries happening in that space, and AI is only going to get bigger.

10- You are working on a TV adaptation of your autobiography as well as a second book. What are your goals for these projects, and how do you hope they will enhance your legacy?

I really want my TV adaptation of my autobiography to capture the spirit of my book. It is so raw, and I want it to mirror that. My second book is a labor of love and is like therapy as I write it. I’m so excited for everyone to step into my world. So much has happened since my last book ended, and I know everyone will be shocked at the intensity of what I’m writing.
